The WD-40 formula can strip away some of the protective coatings on car tyres that are designed to provide extra grip on the road or prevent wear and tear. Therefore, it is best to use WD-40 as a spot cleaner in short bursts rather than a heavy application that may damage the tyre. Always wipe off any excess product from the tyres after using it to prevent further buildup of dust and dirt.
It is generally not recommended to just replace one tyre. When you only replace one tyre, your car will be unbalanced and could end up affecting your vehicle’s performance and safety.
If a tyre has a large bulge, or excessive tread wear and damage, patching it is not recommended. If the tyre has been punctured multiple times in the same area, it is best to replace the tyre altogether. Additionally, if the puncture occurred in the sidewall of the tyre, patching is not recommended as this could weaken the tyre and lead to further problems.

You can look out for the following signs to determine if your wheels need balancing: Vibrations, uneven tire wear, steering wheel wobble, suspension issues, previous maintenance or tyre changes. If you experience any of these symptoms, it’s advisable to have your wheels balanced.
